Computer Upgrade Fun - Part 2
My trip to Best Buy was fruitful. They readily exchanged my video card with a new one, and of course I bought a couple other things (electronic stores and me are a dangerous combination). The new video card worked great, so the old card was indeed defective. I had to uninstall all my Object Desktop components to get the driver installation to work, but oh well. The 9700 Pro really brings my screen alive (see screenshot to right from Asheron’s Call 2). It’s nice being able to play games again with high level of detail enabled.
Time for a computer break for a little while (gotta enjoy the day off). I hope you all are having a great start to your new year.
