Since Buffy and Angel are a couple of my favorite shows, a few tidbits to spread…

As most people who watch the show know, Sarah Michelle Gellar announced officially recently that she is not continuing with the Buffy series after this season. Entertainment Weekly has released an interview with SMG about why she’s leaving the show. It also gives some interesting hints such as the possible tie-in’s between Angel’s impending doom and Buffy’s, with the confirmation that Angel will show up in the series finale of Buffy. Also, Joss Whedon, the creator, states that he does plan on a spin-off, that it will not be with Faith (Eliza Dushku,) but it may include some existing cast members. Personally, with Buffy and Faith both out of the picture, the only real character left that I think could anchor a successful spin-off is Willow, played by Alyson Hannigan. It’ll be interesting to see what comes to fruition.

In related entertainment news, an on-line chat with David Boreanaz and Charisma Carpenter (who play Angel and Cordelia on the show Angel) reveals that David will not be playing superman anytime soon.

Anyway, enough with the entertainment news because, um, everything comes to an end. I just feel full.
