Shanghai Banning Bicycles
As a relatively avid cyclist, I hate to see things like Shanghai’s bicycle ban anywhere in the world.
Shanghai plans to ban bicycles from its major roads next year, to make more room for cars, official newspapers have said.
A bicycle is a near perfect form of transportation over short distances (and a fun form over long), and here’s Shanghai banning them from major roadways so they can fit more cars on the street.
That is unbelievably silly and short-sighted.
