SWAT Raid
It was rather interesting leaving work today walking down the stairs to see SWAT coming up the stairs.
Fortuantely, it was Batman Begins extras and not real SWAT. Our office building was being used as a holding area for the extras for tonight’s filming. Even 3 of the tumblers could be seen under tarps on Lower Wacker merely a block away (no pics… who really wants to see only 3 tarps anyway?) The SWAT guys might have been a bit more surprising seeing them walking in the building fully armed (had I not seen the Extras Holding sign out front earlier), but I must say up close, those outfits and weapons look very fake. It’s amazing what you can do on film. 
If I was more of a Batman fan, I’d consider hanging out at night and trying to get a closer look, but alas, I’m not. Batman’s cool, but I’m not quite the fanatic like my friends.
