The Real First Person Shooter

Computer games are fun, but sometimes the physical is a better virtual reality. Plus, in typical bachelor style, I can’t resist my toys, so I ordered this bad boy yesterday to finally take a step up from the Spyder Shutter and Tippmann 98 Custom paintball markers I have. This is Airgun Design’s new scenario oriented paintball marker called the Tac One (second pic shows how night vision and other accessories mount on the rails for scenario play… I didn’t actually order those… yet anyway ;) ). The specs include (from AGD’s website):

  • Three MilSpec Picatinny rails - as used by Armed Forces Worldwide
  • Rear sight rails are angled 60 degrees for clearance and comfort
  • Autococker™ barrel threading
  • Angel™ threaded neck & ball detent
  • Flat Black Anodized Finish
  • Body retrofits to existing Automags
  • All aluminum, super light weight design
  • Intelliframe - Double Triger 45 frame - microswitch ready for loader or light activation by trigger pull
  • Rubber front grip
  • Reactive Trigger/X-Valve Technology
  • Level 10 Low Impact Bolt System (anti-ball chopping)

I’m looking forward to getting out on the field with this. I should have it in time to warm it up before the Celebrity Paintball match. More pics and comments to come…
