Gmail Vulnerability
This news is from Friday, but I’m just catching up on some stuff… It appears Gmail (Google Mail) has a security vulnerability that can allow someone access to your gmail account without your password. Although it still requires them to “steal” your cookie (no, this is not Sesame Street … we are talking browser cookies here), it still disconcerting if you use Gmail as your primary email account (I don’t, but some friends of mine do).
One reason I am not a big fan of using the massive free email providers for anything important.
I got out after hotbot went belly up and now im IMAP for life.
