Free Opera Browser

Opera is offering their browser free (non-ad version) for one day (scroll down the page to the note that mentions the promotion today only) as part of their 10th anniversary.

I’m more of a Firefox guy but having a backup browser is never a bad idea.

  3. I'm having a problem installing Opera 9.02 on FC5.
    Every time I try to run it, it comes back with a “unable to find software information” error.
    When I try to run it from the command line, I get 6 conflict errors.
    I must add that I already have Opera 8.54 but I close it down before I try and run it.
