Small Car Only
I used to have an SUV (Tahoe, stolen back in July), so I used to always park in the big boy spots in the parking garages, but since I’ve upgraded to a compact car, it’s nice to be able to park in those “Small Car Only” or compact car parking slots. However, my definition, and apparantly other people’s definition of “Small Car” differ by quite a bit, as you can see here (taken by my camera phone, hence the lower quality) the Ford Explorer, and GMC Envoy parked in “Small Car Only” slots (and the SUV’s line up the small car slots through the garage). Seems these days that anything smaller than an Expedition or Suburban is considered a small car (although I did see a suburban once think he was a small car).
Granted, this is a small thing (bad pun intended) to be irritated by, but when you deal with it first thing in the morning before caffiene… It makes you want to grab some of these people by the shoulders, point to the signs, and yell “What made you think your car was small?!?!?!?!” But alas, what difference would it make… They’ll park there again tomorrow.
So true. I’m glad I don’t have to park in a parking structure anymore. Although I don’t like the idea of having to clean snow off the car twice a day either.

I know!
The neon was great for those Small Car spots. Until it got hard to get in cause I was sandwiched by two SUV’s that decided they could fit in with barely scraping the last bit of Iris paint on the car when I got out of work. Yeah don’t miss those days. Though with the Buick, I would of been pissed.
